Doug Davison, Owner. After more than 15 years in the automotive industry, Doug felt the winds of change beginning to shift. Because of his love of people and genuine care for every customer, he knew he wanted to continue working with the public. His knowledge and experience in the small business arena came in very handy when the opportunity presented itself to become a small business owner. Doug began visiting Sonora and the surrounding area as a young boy and knew he would eventually relocate to Copperopolis from the Bay Area. With an eye for style, Doug enjoys every opportunity to furnish entire rooms, as well as catering to the needs of customers wishing to spruce up their home décor with accents and enhancements.

Leigh Ann Davison, Owner. Leigh Ann worked for many years providing financial support to the U.S. Geological Survey in various capacities during her professional career. Her excellent and efficient customer service skills have earned her recognition from the Department of the Interior. She enjoys adding a personal element to her business transactions at Plaza Furniture as she transitions to her latest role as business owner with husband Doug.

Teretha Perkins. Teretha originally hails from Texas where she began her working career at Haverty’s Furniture in Irving, TX. She enjoyed working in space design and furniture styles, and when she later came to California she went to work with Young Brothers, later known as Four Brothers, on Mission Street in San Francisco. After a long and successful career in Silicon Valley, she loves working with and selling furniture to the community in Copperopolis where she feels right at home.

Andrea Davison. The daughter of Doug and Leigh Ann, Andrea is Plaza Furniture’s very own candle specialist. She is skilled at keeping a good stock of designer candles, ordering an interesting mix of shapes and colors which she arranges into lovely displays. She has inherited her dad’s knack for eye-catching arrangements and looks forward to putting her experience to good use in other areas of the store.
